Providing the Best Sports Experience for Every Child
Mission Statement:
"To introduce children to Jesus Christ by creating opportunities to serve through sports."
Evaluation Basketball & Cheerleading.
Upward is a first-class sports experience that emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship and fun, while building the skills and fundamentals needed for each individual sport. We try to look past the "win-at-all-costs" mentality found in many children sports leagues, because winning is about so much more than the final score. Currently, more than 500,000 children (K3 – sixth grade) participate in Upward Sports leagues. For over 14 years, Upward has been conducting exciting children's sport leagues and camps in the US and around the world.
We currently offer Upward Basketball with Cheerleading as the witnessing tools of outreach to our community. It consists of several different age groups/divisions ("K4, K through 1st-Grade, 2nd and 3rd-Grades and 4th through 5th-Grade). We aim to have separate leagues for both genders if the number of children allow for it. The Lord continues to bless this ministry in a mighty way, and we anticipate continued growth every year.
The Upward motto is "Every child plays, every child learns, every child is a Winner" and we strive to ensure that we make an individual connection with every child that participates in the Upward program. We invite you to experience this one-of-a-kind sporting event(s) and allow us to share the gospel of Jesus Christ while building self-esteem and confidence.
For further information, please contact the church office at (817) 297-4347 or contact Chaun Vickery at if we may be of any assistance to you and/or your family. We are "Looking Upward" and believing for many more lives to be touched through this incredible ministry.
